I installed rrline following the provided instructions and used it to generate the Hamburg area (centery=53.5, centerx=10, elements=80, country=de). No problems occured during installation, script execution, and BNA import.
The generated network is not complety up to date. It contains some lines that have been entirely removed some decades ago like Henstedt-Ulzburg -- Bad Oldesloe -- Schwarzenbek. The railroad crossing of the river Elbe is also displaced. It shall be stressed, that this are errors in the source data, not in presented program.
That said, I think rrline is useful tool for setting up networks that covers a large area. It allows the user to concentrate on setting up the schedule and so on instead of spending hours and hours in getting the railroads lines onto the network layout.
Regards,
Tobias
